I am a qualified psychotherapist having trained at WPF Therapy London. WPF Therapy is one of the principal psychotherapy training organisations in the UK. It is accredited by the BACP and the UKCP. My qualifications include:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice (WPF Therapy).
- WPF Therapy Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling
- BSc (Hons) Psychology
I am a member of the FPC and the BACP. I work within the ethical guidelines of the BACP.
I have experience of counselling in a variety of settings including clinical experience at WPF Therapy and in the voluntary sector. I currently work as an Honorary therapist at WPF Therapy and as an Associate Counsellor at the Royal Holloway University of London where I counsel undergraduate students. I work with people of different ages, gender, culture and background.
Prior to working as a psychotherapist I worked as a teacher (and pastoral care tutor) in Further Education and then as a Social Worker.
I provide a safe and warm non judgemental environment where your worries will be heard and explored. I will help you to think about how past experiences are linked to present conflicts. Being able to make these links between past experiences and present patterns of behaviour can lead to an increased self awareness and a better understanding of our motivation and behaviour.
Call the clinic to arrange times outside of these.
